Backgroundinformation
Today, we begin in Marina di Carrara, continue along the sea before turning inland to Camaiore. This landscape has apparently attracted artists and poets for centuries. We also see how the ancient Via Francigena has assisted in the economic development and artistic blossoming in the region. Length of this stage: 33 km (5% gravel and mountain paths, 95% pavement).
