Backgroundinformation
Today, we march from Monteriggioni to Vescovado. The Via Francigena takes us through the city of Siena, where we pause for a brief celebration on the Piazza del Campo, the most beautiful medieval square in the world. A beautiful Tuscany stage rich in variety and challenges: 36 km (40% gravel, field and mountain paths, 60% pavement).
